No single factor might explain the observed changes in Salmonella incidence in humans and poultry. Therefore, to provide further indications on the relative contributions of several potential factors, a Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) is performed within the ADONIS project. The objectives of this MCDA are to rank the relative importance of the determinants playing a potential role in the in reversal of the decreasing trend in the incidence of human S. Enteritidis infections and the interventions that could be applied to reverse this trend.
