LOGÍSTICA REVERSA COMO FERRAMENTA NA REDUÇÃO DE RESÍDUO TEXTIL

Abstract

É fato os resíduos gerados pela indústria causam danos significativos ao meio ambiente. Nesse sentido, cabe às empresas implantar mecanismos em seus processos os quais recolham os resíduos gerados, a para dar o fim adequado, seja por meio da reciclagem, reutilização ou descarte. Dentre os processos que podem ser implantados está a logística reversa, pelo qual a empresa cria mecanismos para retornar aqueles bens que foram produzidos por ela e que foram descartados posteriormente, a fim dar o destino adequado a eles. No Brasil, há uma preocupação do governo em incentivar as empresas a adotar esse processo. Para tanto, foi promulgada a Política Nacional de Resíduos Sólidos, cuja legislação tem o objetivo de fomentar entre as empresas a criação de processos os quais recolham os resíduos produzidos por elas. A despeito disso, não são todas as indústrias que são incentivadas pelo governo a instituir processos de sustentabilidade como a logística reversa. Dentre essas indústrias não contempladas pela política está a têxtil, o qual produz quantidades significativas de resíduos sólidos e químicos. Mesmo assim, há empresas brasileiras do setor têxtil que implantaram processo de logística reversa que dão destino sustentável para dos resíduos têxteis. Diante desse senário, este artigo apresentará um breve panorama sobre a logística reversa no Brasil e a sua relação com a indústria têxtil.
