This paper is part of the scientific publication: Souverijns, N., De Ridder, K., Takacs, S., Veldeman, N., Michielsen M., Crols, T., Foamouhoue, A.K., Nshimirimana, G., Dan Dijé, I., Tidjani, H. (2023). High resolution heat stress over a Sahelian city: Present and future impact assessment and urban green effectiveness. International Journal of Climatology 43, 7346-7364. doi:10.1002/joc.8268 Within the WeHubit program financed by ENABEL (https://www.wehubit.be/en/node/97) the impacts of climate change are assessed over the city of Niamey. Using the UrbClim and GeoDynamix model, present and future heat stress is assessed. The results can be assessed via this platform. Below the raw netcdf output of the climate model for maximum and minimum daily temperature can be found for present and future scenarios, including the upper and lower uncertainty on the climate model projections (details about the scenarios can be found in this paper (under review)): - Present land use & present climate (2001-2020): T2M_daymax_2001_2020.zip & T2M_daymin_2001_2020.zip - Present land use & RCP2.6 (2041-2060): T2M_daymax_2041_2060_rcp26_LUpresent.zip & T2M_daymin_2041_2060_rcp26_LUpresent.zip - Present land use & RCP4.5 (2041-2060): T2M_daymax_2041_2060_rcp45_LUpresent.zip & T2M_daymin_2041_2060_rcp45_LUpresent.zip - Present land use & RCP8.5 (2041-2060): T2M_daymax_2041_2060_rcp85_LUpresent.zip & T2M_daymin_2041_2060_rcp85_LUpresent.zip - SSP1 land use projections & RCP2.6 (2041-2060): T2M_daymax_2041_2060_rcp26_LUSSP1.zip & T2M_daymin_2041_2060_rcp26_LUSSP1.zip - SSP5 land use projections & RCP4.5 (2041-2060): T2M_daymax_2041_2060_rcp45_LUSSP5.zip & T2M_daymin_2041_2060_rcp45_LUSSP5.zip - BAU land use projections & RCP8.5 (2041-2060): T2M_daymax_2041_2060_rcp85_LUBAU.zip & T2M_daymin_2041_2060_rcp85_LUBAU.zip
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
