Abstract

Die Studie Kompass: Kompetenz und Künstliche Intelligenz gibt einen Einblick in die Kompetenzen der deutschsprachigen Bevölkerung ab 12 Jahren in Bezug auf Künstliche Intelligenz und digitale Medien. Im Fokus stehen Wissensbestände, Erfahrungen sowie deren Reflexion und der Bezug zur Lebenswelt der Befragten. Neben einer Selbsteinschätzung einschlägiger Fähigkeiten und Fertigkeiten bietet die Studie als innovatives Element Auskunft, welche Kompetenzen die Befragten in ihren jeweiligen Lebensvollzügen als relevant einschätzen. Künstliche Intelligenz ist dabei ein Kristallisationspunkt einer neuen technologischen Entwicklung, die als Smartwatches, Navigationsgeräte oder Sprachassistenten im Alltag Einzug hält und neue Kompetenzanforderungen an den souveränen Umgang mit dieser Technologie stellt. Empirische Basis der Studie ist eine bundesweite Repräsentativbefragung der deutschsprachigen Bevölkerung ab 12 Jahren, an der 1602 Personen teilnahmen. Sie wurde im Rahmen des Projektes Digitales Deutschland durchgeführt.
