Information ecology is a “luxurious” scientific discipline that aims to study the information equilibrium of a person and take care of his survival as a consumer of information. The main problems of information ecology are the purity of the information environment and the information comfort of a person. The main focus of this article is on arguments about the need to deepen research on external factors (such as infotainment) and subjective factors (such as information neuroticism), as well as the urgent need for information hygiene training.
