The presentation was held at the second workshop of the Working Group Key Performance Indicators (WG KPIs). This workshop addressed stakeholders from Austrian ministries, research performing and research evaluating organisations, funding agencies, infrastructure providers, and networks and took place on 10 May 2022. It was the starting point for a participatory process to define EOSC-specific indicators for Austria.

This presentation introduces the European Open Science Cloud building process at the European level and the Austrian initiative, including concepts, milestones, strategic issues, monitoring and impact measurement.
