În articol este precizată esența diverselor noţiuni: creativitate, competenţă, abilități creative, competențe profesionale. Creativitatea apare în patru accepţiuni importante: ca produs; ca proces; ca disponibilitate, potenţialitate general umană, ca o capacitate şi o abilitate creativă; ca dimensiune complexă a personalităţii. Competența este utilizată frecvent ca o contextualizare a achiziţiilor cunoştinţe, priceperi, deprinderi, deci competenţa profesională este utilizarea achiziţiilor într-un anumit context. Contextul este parte componentă a competenţei profesionale. Competenţele nu se limitează doar la elemente cognitive implicând utilizarea teoriei, conceptelor sau cunoştinţelor, ele, de asemenea, cuprind şi aspectele funcţionale ce implică abilităţi tehnice, precum şi atribute interpersonale abilităţi sociale, organizatorice şi valorile etice. Din această perspectivă am putea afirma că creativitatea este o competenţă, chiar o meta-competenţă. Nu poţi educa o persoană creativă fără a-i forma anumite competenţe, care ulterior vor atinge un anumit nivel de performanţă, de flexibilitate comportamentală, de eficienţă, de adaptabilitate. În acest sens se afirmă că creativitatea se învaţă, se exersează, se dezvoltă. Abilităţile creative presupun caracteristici ale stilului cognitiv şi ale stilului de lucru şi, de asemenea, trăsături de personalitate care dau unui individ posibilitatea de a-şi folosi deprinderile dintr-un domeniu într-un mod diferit de ceilalţi. Un stil de lucru creativ este caracterizat de: dăruire totală, dorinţa de a face lucrurile bine, capacitatea de a-și concentra atenţia pe perioade lungi de timp, capacitatea de a abandona ideile neproductive şi de a lăsa temporar deoparte problemele mai dificile, tenacitatea în faţa dificultăţilor, dorinţa de a munci cu perseverenţă.
The content of the article specifies the essence of various notions: creativity, competence, creative skills, and professional skills. Creativity appears in four important meanings: as a product, as a process, as availability and general human potential, as a capacity and a creative ability, and as a complex dimension of personality. Competence is often used as a contextualization of acquisitions knowledge, skills, and abilities, so professional competence is the use of acquisitions in a particular context. Context is a component of professional competence. Competences are not limited to cognitive elements involving the use of theory, concepts or knowledge, they also include functional aspects that involve technical skills, as well as interpersonal attributes social skills, organizational skills and ethical values. From this perspective, we can say that creativity is a competence, even a meta-competence. You cannot educate a creative person without developing certain skills, which will later reach a certain level of performance, behavioral flexibility, efficiency, adaptability. In this sense, it is stated that creativity is learned, practiced, and developed. Creative skills involve cognitive and work style characteristics as well as personality traits that allow an individual to use his skills in one area in a more different way than others do. A creative work style is characterized by: total dedication, the desire to do things well, the ability to focus for long periods of time, the ability to abandon unproductive ideas and temporarily put aside more difficult problems, tenacity in the face of difficulties, the desire to work perseveringly.
