Abstract

Die Erarbeitung einer Energiestrategie als Grundlage für die zukünftige Energiepolitik des Landes Brandenburg wird begrüßt. Der weitere Ausbau der erneuerbaren Energie ist ein notwendiges Ziel, ohne das die Transformation der Volkswirtschaft hin zur Klimaneutralität nicht gelingen kann. Auch wird Wasserstoff zukünftig eine wichtige Rolle für direkte Anwendungen bei hohen Temperaturen, in der Grundstoffchemie sowie der Energiewirtschaft spielen, um fluktuierende Energieangebote von Sonne und Wind auszugleichen. Leider macht der vorliegende Entwurf den Eindruck, dass die Energiepolitik der letzten Jahrzehnte im Wesentlichen fortgeschrieben werden soll. Fossile Energieträger werden zwar durch erneuerbare Energiequellen ersetzt bzw. durch den Einsatz von Wasserstoff ergänzt, aber die Konsequenzen und notwendigen Umgestaltungen auf der Verbraucherseite werden jedoch deutlich zu kurz behandelt. Maßnahmen zum Energiesparen fehlen, komplexe Abhängigkeiten bleiben ausgeblendet. Die Energiewende wird nicht oder kaum ganzheitlich gesehen.
