It has been experimentally demonstrated that the potentiometric titration method of Jatkar and Mattoo yields reliable results only for metals of higher redox potentials. Even in such cases the results are fairly uncertain, and this uncertainty gradually increases proceeding toward the Metals of the mere negative redox potentials.
