HERMENEUTICA MITULUI ANTIC LA EUGEN SIMION: JURNALUL ÎNTRE PROTEU ȘI CIRCE

Abstract

În acest articol încercăm să explicăm importanța mitului antic în interpretarea autentică a lui Eugen Simion. Deși în lucrarea sa fundamentală „Ficţiunea jurnalului intim” găsim referințe la mai multe personaje mitice, prezentul articol se axează pe două metamorfoze ale diaristului atestate de academicianul Eugen Simion: Proteu și Circe. Hermeneutica mi­tului, o ramificare a hermeneuticii, constituie modalitățile de interpretare a textului artistic, care, în scopul de a elucida etapele și contextele transformării imaginii de la ontologic la cea re-creată de scriitor, explică opțiunile autorului în reali­zarea acestei metamorfoze și elucidează receptarea autentică a conceptelor ce relevă noi conotații, sublimându-le pe cele anterioare. În acest context, am selectat hermeneutica mitului pentru a investiga conotațiile mitului antic și mutațiile acestuia în discursul critic al lui Eugen Simion. Transformarea este pilonul pe care mizează cercetătorul, totodată argu­mentându-și selecția pentru Proteu și Circe. Considerăm important a explica diferențele acestor inițiați ai metamor­fo­ze­lor pentru a percepe rolul remitizării ce contribuie la perspectiva recunoașterii. Receptorul rămâne într-un exercițiu de desfigurare a mitului. În studiul lui Eugen Simion secundarul devine primordial.
