MIdAS is a platform for performing bias adjustment of climate models, with support for parallel computing on larger clusters. The basics of the software allows empirical quantile mapping of a climate model to a gridded reference data set (observations). The current version of MIdAS supports: (i) day-of-year based adjustment window with a 31-day running window, (ii) empricial quantile mapping using a adaptive spline fitting procedure, and (iii) separate "cascade" adjustments for different timescales, e.g. monthly mean and daily anomalies. Bias adjustment of temperature and precipitation at daily time scales are currently supported.
