They will be remembered for the rest of their lives for their unwavering commitment to the administration of India. This is a long one. Throughout history, there have been several women with extraordinary bravery and wisdom who have walked shoulder to shoulder with men. Be patient with the guys of their era. Along with the men, the women of Cachar reacted to each phase of Gandhiji’s opportunity development, including the Swadeshi movement, the Non-Cooperation Movement (1920/21), the Civil Disobedience Movement (1930), and the Quit India Movement (1942). They became involved in the development by organising marches and picket lines, as well as making trips to the most remote areas to spread the word. They enthusiastically embraced Gandhiji’s practical undertakings, such as large-scale spinning and weaving, as well as the mission of eradicating untouchability and promoting Hindi as a national languages.
