Data sharing considerations for Human Research Ethics Committees

Abstract

This practical guide will help people on human research ethics committees navigate the processes involved in ethically and legally sharing sensitive data. Note: This guide was current as of February 2020. Updated advice for HRECs is being developed through one of the ARDC’s current projects, Clinical Research Data Sharing Frameworks. Also refer to the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research 2023.
