Was die Schweiz für die Biodiversität tun kann – Handlungsoptionen für ausgewählte Sektoren

Abstract

Der starke Rückgang der Biodiversität beeinträchtigt die Lebensgrundlagen des Menschen. Der Weltbiodiversitätsrat IPBES zeigt vielfältige Möglichkeiten auf, wie diesem Verlust entgegengewirkt und die Leistungen der Natur bewahrt werden können. Demnach können die verschiedenen Politikbereiche massgeblich dazu beitragen, die nachhaltige Entwicklung zu Gunsten der Biodiversität und der Menschen wirksam zu fördern. Eine Analyse für die Schweiz macht deutlich, dass bei der Umsetzung dieser Handlungsoptionen noch grosses Potenzial besteht.
