ABOUT THE CHARACTERISTIC BASIS OF THE CULTURE AND POST-MODERN NIHILISM Abstract: I propose, in this article, an anthropology of the Hermeneutic phenomenological with the purpose of weave an analytic understanding of the western culture that, in the perspective of Heidegger, determined by the metaphysical conception (above mentioned, more specifically, in its classic book Sein und Zeit). This phenomenon was understood as the exhaustion of the metaphysics. It is that exhaustion, also called in this text of postmodern nihilism, the epicenter and the analytic purpose of the present article.
