Embolemidae Foerster, 1856 Type genus. Embolemus Westwood, 1833, according to Art. 63 of ICZN (1999). Diagnosis. Head triangular in lateral view (Figs 2D, 3D, 4D); antenna projecting from two frontal contiguous prominences remote from mouth (Figs 2D, 2K, 3E, 4E).
