ABSTRACT The right of every citizen to live a healthy life, as stated in Article 25 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, that everyone has the right to an adequate life for health and well-being in life for themselves and their families. The National Health Insurance Program is organized according to the principle of national insurance, to support the National Health Insurance program, the government established health insurance namely BPJS which was ratified on October 29, 2011 and formulated into Law Number 24 of 2011 concerning BPJS. Taking this theme means how the government in taking the national Health Insurance policy through BPJS health. In this research, the writer uses the literature. The results of this study ensure that the National Health Insurance policy is a policy in the health sector through BPJS. Keywords : health rights, social security, insurance ABSTRAK Hak Setiap Warga Negara untuk hidup sehat,sebagaimana yang tercantum dalam DUHAM pasal 25 bahwa semua orang berhak atas kehidupan yang memadai untuk kesehatan,kesejahteraan dalam hidup bagi diri sendiri dan keluarganya. Program Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional di selenggarakan menurut prinsip asuransi nasional, untuk mendukung program Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional pemerintah membentuk asuransi kesehatan yakni BPJS yang disahkan pada tanggal 29 Oktober 2011 dan dirumuskan kedalam Undang – Undang Nomor 24 Tahun 2011 tentang BPJS. Mengambil tema ini bermaksud bagaimana pemerintah dalam mengambil kebijakan Jaminan Kesehatan nasional melalui BPJS kesehatan. Penelitian ini penulis menggunakan kepustakan. Hasil dari penelitian ini memastikan bahwa kebijakan Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional merupakan kebijakan dalam bidang kesehatan melalui BPJS. Kata Kunci : hak kesehatan; jaminan sosial, Asuransi
