Abstract

D. Vitaliana (L.) Pax (Aretia Vitaliana Murray, Gregoria Vitaliana Duby, Vitaliana primuliflora Bertol.) Cat. 300. Vgl. Chiarugi Lit. 1930, S. 349-352. Verbreitung: südlich der Rhone vom Mattertal bis zum Merezenbachtal (Distr. 3, 3aund4); nörd- lich des Flusses von den Alpen von Leuk bis zum Gredetschtal(Distr.2). Obere Höhengrenze festzustellen. Die Angabe «3100 m» des Cat., die JACCARD offenbar mit Rück- sieht auf den Fundort «Gornergrat» gesetzt hat, ist wohl zu hoch (auf dem Gipfel des Gornergrates wurde die Art von keinem neueren Botaniker beobachtet). Die höchsten Stellen sind nach der Zu- sammenstellung bei CHIARUGI (I. e., S. 350); Riffelberg bei Zermatt, 2800-2900 m (Biner); Gorner- grat bei Zermatt, 2900 m (Papon), 2860 m (Vierhapper). - Abwärts bis etwa 1650 m: zwischen dem Engeloch und dem Maschahaus auf der Simplonsüdseite (Favre, Guide Simplon, S.172 [1875]; Be- chereru. a.). Die Walliser Pflanzen gehören nach CHIARUGI alle zur var. alpina (Chiarugi) f. orientalis (Chia- rugi) subf. lepontina (Chiarugi). 2: Im Gebiet Alp Chermignon-Torrenthorn mehrfach beobachtet (Leresche, J., Wilczek,Mlle S. Vautier);Faldumpass (J.); Gugginalp,nahe der Zunge des Langgletschers (Dübi 1927; mit die- sem Fundort ist vielleicht identisch«Guggerhubel» [Rion], vgl. Cat.); «Leucherberg»,leg.? (nach Chiarugi, I. e., S. 352; = Laucherspitzen?, oder Laucheralp?); östlich des Lötschentals: Spilbiel- alpji (Exk. Berner Bot. Ges. 1951) und Galmjini (Zwicky 1950) ob Hohtenn; Leiggernalp ob Aus- serberg (Zwicky 1951); Alp Brischern-Gerstenhorn (Wilczek 1911 in herb. Lausanne, Zwicky 1953). -3: Ob Törbel,drei Stellen:Schönbiel, 2250m, Helminen, 2750m, Mellichgrat, 2700m (alles: Stehler); neue Fundorte im Saastal: Hofersalp-Gruben (Becherer und Thommen), Trift- alp (iidem), Grundberg (Becherer), Furggalp (A. Keller), Furggalp-Schönenboden (Becherer und Thommen), Bielen bei Fee, etwa 1800m (Hirschmann); Visperterminen-Nanztal (J., Beau- verd). - 3a: Glatthorn ob Eggen (Becherer und Thommen); Hohbiel (üdem); Furgge (Vulpius, Duflon); Seehorn (Handel-Mazzetti); zwischendem M:onscerapassund dem Camozellhorn (Be- cherer); Andollapass (idem). - 4: Tunnetschhorn (Coaz; im Cat. versehentlich unter 3); auf den Alpen des Binntales mehrere neue Stellen nachgewiesen (Bernoulli, J., Mantz, Binz u.a.); Rap- pental, 2100m (B. C. W.);Blinndental, 2200-2600m (B. C. W.); Merezenbachschien, 2800m (B. C.W.).
