This code interface uses ArcGIS software (ESRI) to apply fuzzy membership functions to relevant plant associations across Ethiopia. It is driven by values for precipitation and elevation (as a proxy for temperature). These variables can be changed to simulate different cliamtic conditions, e.g. paleoclimate. Please adjust values and use any temperature and precipitation data for calculating potential vegetation. See comments in code for details.
