The interaction of Mo (VI) and K4FeCy6 results in the formation of both soluble and insoluble complexes depending on the concentration and pH of the reactants. The composition of the complex has been determined from potentiometry, conductometry, spectrophotometry, and by analysis. All the methods show the formation of the complex (MoO2)2FeCy6.
