Abstract

Odam tanasining 1,5 - 1,7 qismi suyaklardan iborat bo‘lib, suyaklar yig‘indisiga skelet deyiladi. Skelet degan suzi grekcha ―skeleton‖ so‘zidan kelib chiqib, ―kuritilgan‖ degan ma‘noni anglatadi. Bunday ma‘noni kiritilishiga sabab, qadimgi davrda skelet oftob ta‘sirida yoki kumning qizig‘idan foydalanib tayyorlangan. Skelet tarkibiga 200 dan ortiq suyaklar kirib, ulardan 33-34 tasi toq sonda bo‘ladi. SHartli ravishda skelet 2 qismga - o‘q skeleti va qo‘shimcha skeletiga ajratiladi. O‘q skeletiga kalla skeleti (29 suyaklar), ko‘krak qafasi (25 suyaklar), umurtqa pog‘onasi (26 suyaklar) kiradi. Qo‘shimcha skelet tarkibiga ko‘l skeleti (64), oyoq skeleti (62) kiradi.
