Transport Processes in Thermo-cells

Domain of validity of thermodynamics of irreversible processes has been examined experimentally in the ease of transport processes in thermo-cells. Earlier theory of thermo-cells has been revised to suit the experiments described. The data obtained have also been used to study the effect of concentration, temperature, and the nature of other ion on the heat and entropy of transport.
