Moluscos marinos del Parque Nacional Caguanes, Sancti Spíritus, Cuba

Abstract

Se presentan los resultados del estudio faunístico de los moluscos marinos del Parque Nacional Caguanes, que incluye 95 especies (69 gasterópodos, 25 bivalvos y un escafópodo), el 85,3% de las cuales es mega moluscos y el 14,7% es micro gasterópodos. Por categorías tróficas, 32 especies son herbívoras, 29 carnívoras, 26 filtradores y ocho parásitas. Este catálogo ilustrado constituye una guía básica inicial para el desarrollo de futuros estudios ecológicos y faunísticos marinos en esta área protegida.
