Patellapis katangensis

P. katangensis (Cockerell 1934) Halictus (Patellapis) katangensis Cockerell, 1934: 111-112. We have studied a single male with the handwritten label “ Halictus katangensis Ckll. ” from the BMNH (1♂, Belgian Congo, Katanga, Dilolo, 24.-27.vii.1931, Mrs. W.P. Cockerell). The specimen had weak distal wing venation and belongs to Lasioglossum instead of Patellapis.
