Poecilimon martinae tlos Heller, 2004 (Figure 1B, D in Figures 2–6 and 9–10) Poecilimon martinae tlos Heller (2004): 15. Type data. Holotype, male; Turkey, Muğla, Tlos (ca. 20 km ö Fethiye), 36.556°N, 29.420° E (CH 5446, Collection Heller). Description. See Heller (2004) in addition to data here. Material examined. Holotype. Remarks. This subspecies is known only from the type specimen which is similar to P. martinae martinae by the general appearance and the male cercus tapered apically. Interestingly, the distribution of this subspecies is isolated from that of the nominate subspecies and the dominant species in its type locality is P. inflatus. Heller (2004) considered P. inflatus and P. martinae as sister species and diagnosed three forms by differences in male cerci. However, male cerci are more similar in P. inflatus and P. martinae martinae while more different in P. martinae tlos. At present song data are not available and female is not known in P. martinae tlos in order to clarify the systematic uncertainties. This subspecies may represent a distinct species, but an appropriate decision requires obtaining further data.
