Abstract

Diospyros longibracteata Lecomte Notulae Systematicae 4 (4): 99 (Lecomte 1928a). TYPES. — Laos. Kilo 160 Route de Savannakhet à Quang Tri [= km 160 on the route from Savannakhet (Laos) to Quang Tri (Vietnam)], 8. I.1925, Poilane 11525 (lecto-, P [P00721612]!, designated here; isolecto-, NY [NY00335033, NY00335034, NY00335035]!; P [P00721611, P00721613]!; VNM [VNM00015271, VNM00015272]!). NOTES Lecomte (1928a: 100) cited Poilane 11525 from “ Laos: route de Suvannakhet à Quang tri” as the original material. Eight sheets of this gathering have been located at NY, P and VNM. Here, we designate the specimen P00721612 as the lectotype – it is the only sheet in the gathering bearing Lecomte’s type annotation.
