Conflictos socioambientales en el Perú con la especie oso andino (Tremarctos ornatus): una revisión

Abstract

El presente artículo tiene como objetivo dar a conocer principalmente, las medidas de conservación para el único úrsido a nivel de Sudamérica. Se hace referencia al Tremarctos ornatus, comúnmente llamado “oso andino” u “oso de anteojos”. Esta especie presenta innumerables aportes hacia el ecosistema donde habita, cumpliendo un rol importante en los países donde vive, como el Perú; no solo a un nivel ecológico sino también cultural. Se consultó para la búsqueda de esta revisión el servidor de Google Académico, para obtener documentos de entidades gubernamentales y artículos científicos, principalmente. La línea de tiempo de consulta no fue mayor a 5 años de antigüedad. En su mayoría, se utilizó los descriptores claves “conservación”, “coexistencia” y “Tremarctos ornatus”. Con base en ello, se encontró una problemática socioambiental frecuente en relación con la coexistencia entre humano-oso, sobre todo cuando estas interacciones se establecen en zonas rurales y urbanas. En consecuencia, la cacería resulta la solución más rápida para los pobladores, convirtiéndose en una amenaza para la conservación del oso andino, además de la disminución de su hábitat por actividades antrópicas (deforestación, transporte, crecimiento poblacional, entre otros), que perjudican a la especie. Frente a esta problemática, se han realizado y planificado medidas de protección para el oso; gran parte de ellas involucran la participación inmediata de las comunidades locales que conviven con la especie, además de las medidas legales propuestas por el Estado peruano.
