Abstract

A working group initiated by the NeIC Director in 2020 has discussed and identified challenges and collaboration opportunities in the Nordic+Baltic region to accelerate the development of Open Science and FAIR data within the region. The report discusses topics of policies, incentives and common practices and how this must be synchronised with skills, tools and infrastructures that support FAIR practices. The report also provides recommendations that would benefit from commitment and coordination and to exploit the collaborative culture and economics of scale within the Nordic region.
