Abstract

The paper presents first data about the occurrence of Synanthedon mesiaeformis (Lepidoptera: Sesiidae) in the Kuyavia-Pomerania region. One dead specimen, devoured by the goldenrod crab spider Misumena vatia, was observed on the bank of the Mątawa river near Dubielno. The new locality significantly extends its known range of occurrence in Poland towards the north-west.
