Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna brown, except segments 1–2 testaceous; mesosoma black; metasoma brown; legs brown, except protibia and tarsi partly testaceous. Antenna clavate; antennal segments in following proportions: 16:7:12:8:8:9:9:10:11:14. Head shiny, with anterior half of face rugose, posterior half punctate and unsculptured among punctures, except some areolae near orbits; vertex weakly rugose, sculptured by irregular keels, with fold joining ocelli, with two oblique keels joining posterior ocelli to occipital carina; face with two lateral longitudinal keels along orbits directed towards antennal toruli; frontal line complete; occipital carina complete; POL = 7; OL = 4; OOL = 8; OPL = 5; TL = 5; greatest breadth of posterior ocelli shorter about as long as OL. Pronotum with anterior surface dull and transversely striate; posterior surface transverse, much shorter than scutum (8:23), almost completely shiny, smooth, unsculptured; pronotal tubercle reaching tegula. Scutum and scutellum punctate, unsculptured among punctures. Notauli incomplete, reaching approximately 0.6 length of scutum. Metanotum shiny, unsculptured. Propodeum with strong transverse keel between dorsal and posterior surface; dorsal surface reticulate rugose; posterior surface reticulate rugose, with two complete longitudinal keels and median area rugose and with a central smooth unsculptured area. Forewing hyaline, with one large dark transverse band on distal third; distal part of stigmal vein much shorter than proximal part (5:13). Protarsal segments in following proportions: 11:3.5:3:5.5:20. Protarsal segment 3 produced into hook. Enlarged claw (Plate 139C) with proximal prominence bearing one long bristle. Segment 5 of protarsus (Plate 139C) with basal part longer than distal part (12:8), with two rows of 8 + 26 lamellae; distal apex with seven lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/1/2. Male. Unknown. Material examined. Type: holotype ♀: MALAYSIA: Malaya, Pahang, Cameron Highlands, Tanah Rata, 10–11.X.1989, R. Wharton leg. (DETAM; to be deposited in USNM). Hosts. Unknown. Distribution.
