This paper studies Ayya Vaikundar’s Temple Architecture and Worship Methods. The worship method, the worship songs and the symbol on the forehead are very significant in the sect. The Ayya temple is usually painted with saffron and lime stripes. The worship practices are different from those of other Hindu cults. The objects created for the Ayya are made of non-artificial natural materials, and apologising to the Ayya for accepting what they did knowingly or unknowingly during worship is seen as a special feature not found in other Hindu sects. According to Ayya, it is unnatural for the emperor to show off his pomp and circumstance without having charity during the festival. The kings and the rich have been thought that donating material is beneficial, but according to Ayya, service for the needed is the best way to work for Ayya.
