Abstract

Se realizó una investigación cuantitativa tipo proyecto factible con el objetivo de elaborar una propuesta de un programa de rehabilitación cardiovascular para pacientes con síncope vasovagal de la Unidad de Prevención, Rehabilitación y Ergometría del Centro Cardiovascular Regional Centro Occidental de Barquisimeto. El estudio comprendió tres fases: una fase diagnóstica, donde se indagó sobre la necesidad de elaborar el programa a una población constituida por 48 miembros del equipo de salud, entre ellos, residentes, especialistas, docentes del postgrado, coordinadores de consulta y del centro, fisioterapeuta, enfermera, nutricionistas; la fase de factibilidad de tipo académico-curricular, técnico-administrativa y social dirigida a los directivos del centro y de la Unidad de Prevención y la tercera fase correspondiente al diseño de la propuesta. La propuesta contiene tres partes: la primera denominada anamnesis, la segunda referente a la actividad física y la tercera parte donde se informan los elementos necesarios para la actividad educativa con enfoque preventivo o motivacional. Los resultados servirán para establecer un diagnóstico diferencial de la patología así como para orientar la atención de calidad fundamentada en un programa de rehabilitación cardiovascular para pacientes con síncope vasovagal.
