Outcomes and Recommendations. Maximising Equity in Open and Responsible Research

Abstract

The presentation discusses the recommendations resulting from the research work in ON-MERRIT. The recommendations, titled "Global Thinking. ON-MERRIT recommendations for maximising equity in open and responsible research", identify four areas of intervention: Resource-intensity of Open Research; Article-processing charges and the stratification of Open Access publishing; Societal inclusion in research and policy-making, and Reform of reward and recognition.
