Department of Chemistry, Saurashtra University, Bhavnagar Manuscript received 7 April 1975; revised 24 July 9175; accept.ed 24 July 1975 Complexes of 4-phenyl-3-thiosemicarbazones of Naphthaldehyde with Cu2+, Ni2+, Co2+ and VO2+ have been studied pH metrically. The proton ligand stability constant is 1.413 x 1010, Stability constants of metal complexes are determined by half integral, Olerup and Least square methods in 70% dioxane water media. All the metals form 1 : 2 complexes, The order of stability constant is VO2+ > Cu2+ \(\simeq\) Co2+ > Ni2+.
