Abstract

O presente dossiê intitulado “Políticas Públicas, Estado e Educação: a desconstrução educacional brasileira e a luta para renascer das cinzas nos governos Temer e Bolsonaro” tem produções voltadas ao contexto da escola e das políticas que a envolvem como um todo. O Brasil em movimento vem sendo construído e descontruído desde a década de 90, agenciado por muitas transformações nas leis e diretrizes do campo da educação que buscam um caminho que leve à dita “educação de qualidade”. Apesar da normatividade pregada pelo Estado, as discussões trazidas nesta obra buscam evidenciar as nuances e disputas que envolvem a educação brasileira em tempos atuais, marcado pela pandemia de Covid 19[1], pelo negacionismo à ciência, pelo terraplanismo e pela exaltação da ignorância em desfavor do conhecimento. Diante dessa constatação e da leitura que realizamos dos sete (07) artigos, convido os leitores e as leitoras a mergulharem nos textos que retratam o exercício de pensar a práxis político-pedagógica de educadores e educadoras que anseiam por outra educação possível a partir das investigações, análises, reflexões e encaminhamentos propostos. [1] Há dois anos, a Organização Mundial da Saúde (OMS) definia, pela primeira vez, a Covid-19 como uma "pandemia". Em 11 de março de 2020, a entidade passou a estimular os países a tomar as medidas necessárias para frear as contaminações pelo coronavírus. Até o momento, a doença causou mais de 6 milhões de mortes no mundo, mas a revista médica The Lancet aponta que o número real pode superar os 18 milhões de óbitos.
