Medición de la cultura de innovación en una institución educativa de orden privado

Abstract

El cociente de innovación mide la cultura de innovación en organizaciones desde una perspectiva integral de valores tangibles e intangibles. Este trabajo se encaminó a medirla con el modelo de Rao y Weintraub en una universidad privada, para conocer si la interacción entre factores emocionales y racionales, han desarrollado estos rasgos culturales, para enfrentar incertidumbre y cambios en el ambiente competitivo en que se desarrolla. Se utilizó un enfoque cuantitativo de alcance descriptivo, correlacional e inferencial y corte transversal para medir los componentes del cociente de innovación. Se identificó que la universidad en análisis necesita invertir en el desarrollo y gestión de sus procesos de innovación y recursos, además de, mejorar las capacidades, comportamientos y clima que los estimule; ya que los procesos de innovación están fuertemente conectados con el factor de éxito de una organización e influyen en los comportamientos internos de la misma.
