tectonicr is a free and open-source R package for modeling and analyzing the direction of the maximum horizontal stress based on the empirical link between the orientation of intraplate stress and the direction of the relative motion of neighboring plates. New features: spatial interpolation of stress direction great circle distances on a spherical surface extraction of plate motion parameters now based on quaternions (faster!) rose diagram data set containing global plate boundaries added (incl. information of type of plate boundary displacement) Full Changelog: https://github.com/tobiste/tectonicr/compare/v1.3...V1.4
