An Archaeological Study of an Aboriginal Shell Midden at Shellharbour, New South Wales

ANU Archaeological Consultancies was commissioned by the Public Works Department to conduct a test excavation and a site assessment of a shell midden at Shellharbour beach (Figure 1). This site was located by another consultant, Ms s. McIntyre during a preliminary investigation of the area for a proposed boatharbour and associated developments (McIntyre 1985).
