XML-Workshop: Praktische Einführung in XML und Metadatenschemata

Abstract

In diesem Workshop gibt Andre Manuel Pietsch M.A., Forschungsdatenreferent an der Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen, eine praxisorientierte Einführung in Metadaten, insbesondere in die Anwendung der Extensible Markup Language (XML). Im Anschluss präsentiert der Referent einen Überblick über disziplinübergreifende und disziplinspezifische Metadatenschemata, ihren Gebrauch und die Text Encoding Initiative (TEI). Die Veranstaltung fand im Rahmen der HeFDI Data Talks statt. Veröffentlicht werden hier die Folien mit dem Skript des Referenten.
