Contains 3D CAD models of the Trillium II design for fiber positioning robots. Each unit has six ø4 mm brushless DC motors, and is capable of precisely positioning 3 fibers, each with 2 DOF. The robotic units are at 6.2 mm center-to-center pitch. Also included is a slide deck detailing our assembly procedure, called “2021-08-09 Trillium2 overview and assembly procedure.pdf”. We made several minor changes to these procedures during assembly of the actual prototypes, which are not captured there. A drawing package and Bill of Materials are included, as well.
