Resursa garamantas.lv testēšana ar domā skaļi (think aloud) metodi veikta projekta "Humanitāro zinātņu digitālie resursi: integrācija un attīstība"(2020-2022) (Nr.VPP-IZM-DH-2020/1-0001) ietvaros. Domāt skaļi metode pamatojas uz to, ka lietotājs stāsta visu, ko redz, domā, dara, jūt veicot uzdevumu. Tādējādi testa veicējs redz uzdevuma veikšanas procesu, ne tikai tā rezultātu. Testa veicējs visu pieraksta neveicot nekādu interpretāciju. To var pavadīt arī audio un video ieraksti. Vēlāk var analizēt atkārtoti šos ierakstus un izskaidrot, ko un kādā veidā lietotājs ir darījis, kāpēc to vai citu ir darījis. Tāpat šī metode ļauj noskaidrot, kas lietotājam nav bijis skaidrs. Tātad analizējot ar šīs metodes palīdzību iegūtos datus, var noskaidrot biežākos lietojamības trūkumus (Lauesen S., 2005).
