(1970, synonymy of Br. mesai with Br. galindoi), Williams (1970), Forattini (1971, listed), Martins et al. (1978, at least the Mexican record as Br. galindoi), Young (1975, differences with Br. galindoi), Young (1979, as synonym of Br. galindoi, revision), Ibáñez-Bernal (1999, recovered from its synonymy with Br. galindoi), Ibáñez-Bernal (2000a, diagnosis), Galati (2003, listed), Bejarano et al.
