Abstract

Department of Chemistry, B. B. V. College, Hapur Manuscript received 29 August 1981, reviled 16 December 1983, accepted 10 August 1984 The composition of ColI and NiII complexes with N-2,5-dihydroxyacetophenacylidene-2 5-dichloroanillne (DHAPADA) and N-2,5-dihydroxyacetophenacylidene-\(\mathcal{p}\)- toluidine (DHAPAT) has been found to be 1 : 2 (M : L). Structural assessment of the complexes has been made on the basis of the results of magnetic moments, and electronic and lr spectral studies.
