Japanese Visual Media Graph - Bündelung des Wissens von Fan-Gemeinschaften in einem domänenspezifischen Knowledge Graph

Abstract

Im DFG-geförderten Projekt "Japanese Visual Media Graph" (mediagraph.link) wird ein Knowledge Graph für die Domäne der japanischen visuellen Medien erstellt. Die Daten stammen von Websites, die von Fan-Gemeinschaften betrieben werden. Die Projektziele umfassen den Aufbau einer stabilen Zusammenarbeit und Lizenzvereinbarungen mit den einzelnen Gemeinschaften, die Erstellung eines Datenmodells, das die Sicht der unterschiedlichen Gemeinschaften und der Fachwissenschaft auf die Domäne integriert, den Aufbau der technischen Infrastruktur und die Integration der Daten in das gemeinsame Modell. Darüber hinaus stellen Qualitätsanalysen und der prototypische Einsatz der Daten und der Infrastruktur zur Bearbeitung wissenschaftlicher Fragestellungen sicher, dass das Datenmodell und der Zugang zu den Daten den Bedürfnissen von Fachwissenschaftler:innen genügt. Das Projekt ist in 2019 gestartet und schon weit fortgeschritten. Der Vortrag geht auf wesentliche Ergebnisse und besondere Herausforderungen ein, die im Projektverlauf aufgetreten sind. Ein Beitrag zur 8. Tagung des Verbands "Digital Humanities im deutschsprachigen Raum" - DHd 2022 Kulturen des digitalen Gedächtnisses.
