A. C. College of Technology, Anna University, Madras-600 025 Manuscript received 21 November 1983, revised 27 August 1984, accepted 30 April 1985 Amyloxy and benzyloxysiloxanes were obtained by reacting n-amyl and benzyl alcohols and their water mixtures with SiCI4, in the liquid phase. Their properties, such as refractive index, surface tension, specific heat, coefficient of cubical expansion, silica content, molecular weight, flash and fire points, viscosity and its variation with temperature and pressure, viscosity-temperature coefficient were determined. Based on the experimental data, their tentative structures have been proposed.
viscosity, Benzyloxysiloxane
viscosity, Benzyloxysiloxane
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
