Criocarpus Boczek & Chandrapatya, 2000 Type species. Criocarpus tropicalis Boczek & Chandrapatya, 2000e: 374–375, 376. Diagnosis. Body fusiform; scapular setae (sc) and tubercles on rear shield margin, directed posteriorly, frontal lobe present; anterolateral setae on coxisternum І (1b) absent; paraxial tibial seta (l’) absent, empodium entire; opisthosomal annuli subequal dorsoventrally. This genus is monotypic (Amrine et al. 2003).
