Megaselia simulans

Abstract

Megaselia simulans (Wood, 1912) Previously known from British Isles, Ireland, and mainland Europe: from Sweden and Finland to Germany and Italy, Romania, Spain, and east to Russia west of the Urals. The following is the first record for Finland: M a t e r i a l e x a m i n e d. Male, Finland, Ab: Mynämäki, Karjalankylä, 13 Sep–20 Nov 2012, 67568:32279, E. Vesterinen leg. (hybrid trap).
