Hister funestus Erichson, 1834 Species known from central and northern Europe, the Caucasus, western Siberia, northeastern Kazakhstan and the mountains of Central Asia. Very rare in Poland, known from a small number of scattered sites, including mountainous areas (Eastern Sudetes) (Burakowski et al. 1978). Recently found in Podlasie (Byk et al. 2014). Caught only in the Low Beskids (Żydowskie, 449 m a.s.l.) and Bieszczady (Brzegi Górne, 773 m).
