Notes. – Houttuyn’s plate was based on a specimen from China (collected by Osbeck?) (see VAN STEENIS-KRUSEMAN, 1950: 395), but there is a specimen in G-PREL [G00818009] from his Ceylon herbarium. Two additional specimens from Ceylon are present in the Thunberg herbarium (UPS-THUNB n° 16299 and n° 16300).
