Cataglyphis aenescens ssp.jakobsoni (Ruzsky) Myrmecocystus altisquamis var. jakobsoni Ruzsky, 1905: 436. Syntypes workers, USSR (Turkestan). [Later changes: Cataglyphis (Cataglyphis) cursor ssp. jakobsoni, Emery, 1925: 264; Cataglyphis (Monocombus) cursor st. jackobsoni [misspelling], Santschi, 1929a: 58; Cataglyphis cursor ssp. jacobsoni [misspelling], Starke, 1935: 269; Cataglyphis aenescens ssp. jacobsoni [misspelling], Pisarski, 1967: 417.]
